Estrada had an impressive weekend, going 5-0 on his way to the title at the CUW Open. Estrada downed two nationally ranked wrestlers in #3 Kyle Slendorn (Steven’s Tech) and #8 Zayren Terukina (Wartburg), coupled with three other pins. He now owns a common opponent over Jalen Schropp (Loras) who was the #2-Seed at this weight and placed at the 2021 NWCA Nationals.
The Cardinals, and Javen Estrada, will be back in action this Wednesday, November 24th as they host Augustana College in a dual.

Dalton Rohrbaugh – 133lbs – York College
Rohrbaugh won his only match of the week, 4-3, but it was over a stout opponent in #1 Jake Giordano of TCNJ. Giordano is a 2x All-American coming into this season.
Shandon Akeo – 125lbs – Central College
Akeo continued his hot streak this weekend, going 4-0 at the Scotty Wood Duals. This followed
a decisive major decision victory over the 2021 NWCA National Champion, Alex Friddle (Coe
College) earlier in the week in D3Wrestling’s marquee match-up of the week! Friddle now has
multiple losses on the season, but that does not take any credit away from Akeo who took care
of business for himself and his team. Akeo finished the week 5-0.
