Head Coach Dave Malechek has had his Eagles ready to soar in Louisville. They went 4-0 on the weekend, defeating Adrian, Millikin, North Central, and then Wabash to claim the crown at the NWCA National Duals. UW-La Crosse moves to 6-1 on the season and will almost assuredly be the #1 ranked team in the nation in the next Coaches Poll.

The Eagles title this past week marked the first time in the event’s history that a school not ending in ‘Burg had won the championship.

Their title run made them an easy selection for this week’s National Team of the Week. #d3wrestling
