D3Wrestling Wrestlers of the Week… Cody Baldridge & Sam Stuhl

D3Wrestling Wrestlers of the Week… That’s right… This week we will have Co-Wrestlers for both their outstanding performances on the mat.
Sam Stuhl is a new addition to Augsburg’s program, transferring from North Dakota State University. The brother of 149lber, Charlie, Sam wasted no time making his impact felt on the Division III landscape. Sam went 5-0 en route to winning the Citrus Invite in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Along the way, Stuhl defeated NWCA #3 Jared Brezovec (John Carrol), 6-1, NWCA #12 James Rodriguez (Castleton), 8-6, before taking out his teammate Cade Willis in the finals. Willis defeated NWCA #9 Jake Dado (Ozarks) in the semi-finals.
Cody Baldridge has become a staple at 197lbs! All Baldridge did last week was compete in the inaugural Illinois MatMen Open - this year’s replacement for the Ken Kraft Midland’s - and took 4th place, defeating a handful of Division I opponents along the way.
Baldridge beat Caden Rogers (Unattached), Mason McCready (Bucknell), and Chris Kober (Campbell). He fell to eventual champion, Greg Bulsak (Rutgers) in the semi-finals, before being outlasted by Junior World Champion, Braxton Amos (Wisconsin) in sudden victory.
For their efforts, they have been named the D3Wrestling Wrestlers of the Week! #d3wrestling
