Coach Norton & Co. have his Cardinals on a roll this season, compiling a 6-2 dual meet record in the first half of season. They capped off their semester at the Desert Duals in Las Vegas, going 3-0 at the event. The weekend was highlighted by defeating #2 Wartburg College for the first time in program history.
In a match-up between the #1 Cardinals and #2 Knights, North Central prevailed in an exciting, back-and-forth dual. This marks the first time in program history that North Central has downed Wartburg.
On the weekend, they also downed Alvernia 21-18 and blanked Buena Vista 44-0.
The Cardinals return to action with select individuals at the Midlands Championships in Illinois before their whole squad will be on the mat at the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, Kentucky.
